Hi, I'm Victoria, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT#1944) specializing in working with kids, teens, parents, and women.
I work with families, children, adolescents, and women from all walks of life. I help children and teens change their relationship with anxiety so they can start living a life with less limits from that "worry" voice in their heads. In helping children and teens, helping parents learn how to support their children through their mental health journey is part of the therapeutic process. I also help women walk through their healing journey from trauma, anxiety, and grief. You can read more about how I provide therapy to women here. As a woman of color who has experienced racial trauma, I also provide a safe, healing place to work through racial trauma for the BIPOC population.

"Hi there! Hola, Excited to meet you!
My name is Sofia Calderon, and I am a bilingual, pre-licensed professional counselor and play-based therapist passionate about working alongside young children and their families to support and promote healthy, adaptive, and positive growth and development!
In my practice, I focus on serving children ages 3 to 10 utilizing the Child-Centered Play Therapy therapeutic modality. What this looks like in session is following the child's lead, providing a space for the child to practice autonomy, self-efficacy, emotional regulation, and opportunities for increasing self-confidence and interpersonal skills. This therapeutic style is appropriate for diagnoses such as ADHD, ASD, and other developmental concerns and trauma history. After getting to know me a little better, I hope that now you decide to allow me the privilege to join your littles' healing journey."
