Hi, I'm Edgar. I am a bilingual LENS Technician, real estate investor, husband, and dad of 3. I completed my Bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas A&M -San Antonio in 2013. I enjoy making a finished product out of raw materials. I am passionate about making improvements, whether remodeling my home or self-improvement. I was inspired to become a LENS Technician because of my improvement journey using LENS. When I first heard about LENS, I was skeptical. But my natural curiosity pushed me to try it, and after the third time receiving a LENS Neurofeedback session, I began to notice a change in myself. It felt like a personal reset button. I started to be more patient with my kids. I am not a perfect parent, but I believe in change for the good. So I was pleased to see how much easier it was to manage my parenting frustrations around my kids.
For example, if my oldest son dropped and broke a cup, I would get very overwhelmed with him. But because of LENS, I could regulate my emotions and realize the mess has to be cleaned up, and there is no reason to get upset for a simple mistake. I also felt more relaxed with my life and could think more clearly. It just takes a devoted wife to do all the research and invite me to try it. At least, that is what happened to me, and I am glad that I did. I can tell you LENS works, which is why we have a facility in Tennessee.
I look forward to helping you start your journey towards better mind and body functioning.
Hi, I'm Victoria, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT#1944) who works with kids, teens, parents, and women. I work with families, children, adolescents, and women from all walks of life. I help children and teens change their relationship with anxiety so they can start living a life with fewer limits from that "worry" voice in their heads. Helping children in their teens and helping parents learn how to support their children through their mental health journey is part of the therapeutic process. I also allow women to walk through their healing journey from trauma, anxiety, and grief. You can read more about how I provide therapy to women here. As a woman of color who has experienced racial trauma, I also provide a safe healing place to work through racial trauma for the BIPOC population. I use LENS Neurofeedback with all my therapy clients interested in pairing LENS with therapy sessions.
I started my LENS neurofeedback journey in the summer of 2022. I'm a mom and business owner with ADHD, and getting my neurofeedback has been a huge game changer. I am more motivated, have greater mental clarity, am a parent from my calm state, and feel like I can handle life's struggles without stressful reactivity. I knew right away, with the benefits I received from LENS; I knew I needed to bring this tool to my therapy practice, and I'm so glad I did. Hope to see you soon!
